Semrush is a genuinely broad platform — for a marketing team living in it daily, Pro at $139.95/month can be fair value. The API is a different story: it requires the Business tier, then meters most useful calls with separately purchased API units. For a developer who needs keyword volumes in a content tool or SERP positions in a rank widget, that's a four-figure annual bill for a few thousand integers.

One thing we won't pretend: we do not sell Semrush's proprietary metrics. Authority Score is theirs, their keyword database is theirs. What we sell is the same jobs answered with independent, named sources — Domain Rating via the Ahrefs API for authority, our keyword metrics for volumes and difficulty, live SERP snapshots for positions, dual-source estimates for traffic. For most integrations, the job is what mattered.
